*South Shore Bank’s Student Checking Account is available to those between the ages of 16 and 24. There are no monthly maintenance fees and no minimum balance required. Please refer to our Fee Schedule as certain other fees may apply. There is a $10 minimum to open the account. Parents can make a free funds transfer from their account to the Student Checking Account at SSB if they are an authorized signer on the account. In the month account holder turns 25, account is changed to SSB Free Checking product, if available at the time.
**Must enroll in eStatements to receive gift card.
