Michael Healy joined South Shore Bank in 2000 and has over 30 years of banking experience. Prior to SSB, Mike spent time with USTrust, Cape Cod Bank and Trust, and Bank of Boston. He has been involved in all areas of commercial lending including commercial and industrial businesses, construction financing and commercial real estate and assumed the role of Senior Lender at SSB in 2012.

Mike earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and his Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.  He is also a graduate of the National Graduate School of Banking at Fairfield University.

Mike serves on the NeighborWorks Southern Mass Board of Directors, is a member of the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committttee and volunteers as a United Way allocation panelist.  In addition, Mike is a member of the Knights of Columbus and an active director and coach for the Kingston Youth Soccer and Basketball Associations. He is also a past member of the Cardinal Cushing Center's Development Committee, a former Area Council Member of the American Red Cross and has served on the fundraising committee for the Plymouth Philharmonic.
